There is always a reason to celebrate while living at Upper Ivy apartments for rent in Culver City. However, it is officially fall, which means there is only one thing to celebrate, Halloween in Los Angeles! Well, that and having pumpkin spice lattes on the reg for the rest of the month.
Halloween in Los Angeles
Haunt’oween LA Halloween Drive-through
One of the most iconic places to go trick-or-treating in LA is in Woodland Hills. While it would seem as though trick-or-treating would be canceled, the Haunt’oween LA Halloween Drive-through is keeping the tradition alive. It begins on October 9th, goes through the 31st, and is perfect for the entire family. Drive into jack-o’-lantern tunnels, go pumpkin picking, and enjoy ‘door-to-door’ social distancing trick-or-treating.
Halloween at Descanso
Not all of us are looking for a scare. Some of us just want to be surrounded by pumpkins and fall energy. For those of you living in LA who are looking for those fall vibes, look no further than the Descanso Gardens. Unlike the rest of this list, this experience is on foot! Now through October 31st, get some fresh air and enjoy seasonal displays including a hay maze, a pumpkin arch, wooden jack-o’-lanterns, and a house made out of pumpkins.
Stranger Things Drive-in Experience
The next stop on our list is over in Hawkins, Indiana. To be honest, you cannot celebrate Halloween without defeating a Demogorgon with Will, Mike, Eleven, and the rest of the Stranger Things gang. This year experience it all within the comfort of your car. Hosted by Secret Cinema, the Stranger Things Drive-in Experience takes you through all your favorite sets including the Starcourt Mall with actors in costume. This spooktacular drive-in runs throughout October. You better hurry! These tickets run out fast.
Los Angeles Haunted Hayride
Up next is a staple in our book here at Upper Ivy apartments in Culver City. You can always depend on the Haunted Hayride to give you a good scare. Each year there is a theme. For their 12th installment, you can venture through ‘All Hallows Lane’ from your car. The adventure features a 40-foot screen of scenic environments from older hayrides and lasts for about an hour. Unlike previous years, the hayride will be set up at the Bonelli Regional Park in San Dimas.
Halloween in Los Angeles
Nothing can stop us from celebrating Halloween this year in Los Angeles. On behalf of everyone at Upper Ivy apartments for rent in Culver City, we are witch-ing you all a very happy and safe Halloween!
