We are happy to report that your Upper Ivy apartments are pet-friendly! While living in Culver City, you are surrounded by a handful of wonderful parks but not all of them are pet-friendly. That said, here are some of our favorite dog parks in Los Angeles near your Culver City apartments for rent.
Dog Parks in Los Angeles
The Boneyard
First up is The Boneyard which is just around the corner from your apartments for rent in Culver City. It is open each day from sunrise until 10pm. This off-leash dog park near your Culver City apartments is located within a large park and features separate areas for big and small dogs, plus benches, trees, and water fountains.
Bluff Creek Dog Park
Just a short drive away from your Culver City apartments for rent is Bluff Creek Dog Park in Playa Vista. The park is open seven days a week from 7am to dusk, Monday through Friday. On weekends, it is open from 8am until dusk. Bluff Creek includes pet turf rather than the usual wood chips, and there are tons of little rolling hills with a central stream for drinking.

Griffith Park Dog Park
There are plenty of reasons to love Griffith Park. One of them is their dog park! It is open daily from sunrise to sunset, except for Tuesdays when it closes early for maintenance. This dog park is 1.6-acres with fenced-off areas for small and large dogs. There are also shaded sitting areas with picnic tables, so feel free to make a day of it with friends and family.
Laurel Canyon Dog Park
If you happen to be in the valley with your furry friend, check out Laurel Canyon Dog Park on Mulholland. It is open daily from sunrise to sunset. Do know that the dog park is closed each Friday from 6am to 11am for maintenance. While visiting this 3-acre dog park, you will find amazing views of the San Fernando Valley with separate areas for smaller and bigger dogs.
Redondo Beach Dog Park
It wouldn’t be right to exclude a beach dog park from this list. Our favorite is the Redondo Beach Dog Park, about 15 miles from your apartments for rent in Culver City. There is a 3-acre dog run featuring separate areas for small and large dogs and is open daily.
